Another 3 years of “progress” leaves the UK in the same position

The 2015 PISA scores that give an international comparison for maths, reading and science have been published.

The UK finished 27th in maths, 22nd in reading and 15th in science, showing no discernable improvement in either the position or absolute scores in the last 3 years.

The countries making best progress include Singapore, Ireland, Estonia, Poland, China, Portugal, Spain, Russia and Argentina.
