The Prince’s Trust has teamed up with Microsoft, to transform the IT skills of disadvantaged young people
The Prince’s Trust has teamed up with Microsoft, a member of The Prince’s Trust Technology Leadership Group, to transform the IT skills of hundreds of disadvantaged young people in the UK.
This is a landmark move for The Prince’s Trust, as it is the first time the Trust has offered young people IT training as part of one of its programmes.
The scheme, developed in conjunction with e-learning specialists ForSkills, will help young people obtain a basic knowledge of MS Office programmes, create an email account and produce a CV: all core factors in allowing them to go on to further training or employment.
The project is designed so that young people of all IT levels will benefit.
